Welcome!
Having been established for more than 10 years we have become a very successful tuition service. We pride ourselves in our tailored study support that we provide in small and personalised class sizes.
Our tuition supports your child in giving them the learning that they need to achieve their goals. In today’s schools, there is an increasing ratio of students to teachers. It is almost impossible for one teacher to fully support the learning and progress of thirty students. Success Tuition aims to support your child with a personalised approach, within a dedicated learning environment, so they reach their full potential.
How are we different?
We don't simply hand out revision papers and ask your child to "get on with it", or sit them in front of a computer - it is all about giving your child that extra support that will allow them to get from "B/7" grade to an "A*/9". We tailor the learning to your child's individual needs.
Testament to this is the continuous feedback we receive from parents and students, suggesting our advantage over centres such as Kumon and Explore Learning is due to our personal approach. Our small class sizes, highly qualified teachers and friendly study environment is what sets us apart.

How do I book lessons?
Once you have called us, explaining what support your child needs, your lesson time and details are confirmed on the phone.
1- You will get a text message sent to you with all of the details to confirm.
2- You will then meet your tutor for an introduction appointment , here your lesson day and time will be confirmed.
3- Then you confirm that you are happy with everything discussed and the lessons will begin.
4- Your child will then start their lessons.
Every child learns differently, they can be a visual, auditory or kin-aesthetic learner.
Students tell us how they prefer to learn, as each student learns in a different way. This makes us different and prevents batch processing of "student in, student out" methods that are used by large centres.
How are you different to other tuition centres?
Success Tuition prides itself on being different and bespoke. Big centres have a lot of children; normally 10+ children to one teacher. Would you be happy spending all that money and your child having his or her hand up for more than 10 minutes? Or being taught by a student teacher? Success Tuition has small class sizes, we are not a large centre, we have qualified teachers and that’s how it will stay.
Your child is your world
Today's schools have large class sizes and more pressures on teachers in the classroom, which makes it a lot harder for children to reach their full potential. You know your child well - they are focused, well behaved, eager to learn and will happily complete the work that is set. However, this is where the education system fails your child. Your well behaved and hard working child will get less attention from a teacher, compared to a loud, disruptive and challenging child. At Success Tuition we realise that all parents and guardians want the very best for their child. If you invest in your child, they will continue to shine.
How do I know my child is progressing and is doing well?
When your child has settled in well at Success Tuition, your child will be tested using many different various methods. This is to see firstly if they are retaining the information that they are being taught. To make sure that they are not getting confused on anything. All this information is fed back to parents and guardians on a monthly basis via phone calls or texts. The same way schools have a pastoral system, Success Tuition ensures that parents and guardians maintain a clear level of communication.
What is happening with the new KS1 and KS2 SATs?
The Department for Education have decided to remove the standards of levels to assess students attainment. They are now replaced with a raw score, normally out of 100.
There are now 3 papers with a computerised test, which will test the students understanding of timetables.
What is happening with the new GCSE 9-1 grades?
The Department for Education have decided to remove the A* to G grading, here at Success Tuition we are ready with the new schemes of work and supporting text books to support your child.
